Senegal - Counterpart International CPI has targeted the northernmost central area of Senegal that includes irrigated territory along the Senegalese River and a majority of locales south of the river in the desert. CPI provides bulgur and vegetable oil from U.S. food donations and dried fish, tomato paste, onions, and iodized salt through local purchases with proceeds from the sale of U.S.-donated commodities. CPI plans to operate in every school in the Podor District with a maximum of 200 students. Complementary programs include nutrition education and distribution of deworming medicines.
