Eligibility Requirements

• Citizen of a recipient country;
• Good working knowledge of the English language;
• Minimum Masters degree with three years of practical experience or working towards a Masters with 5 years experience;
• Currently employed in universities, government or other research institutions in the recipient's country;
• Early in professional career;
• Demonstrated intention and desire to continue working in the home country for at least two years upon completion of fellowship.

Additional criteria or requirements may apply for certain programs. In those circumstances, the criteria/requirements will be specifically noted on the applicable program announcement.
